The Results

  • I wanted to approach this design from a place of offering help and understanding. I used imagery that feels real, local, and human rather than polished healthcare stock photography.
  • Using the leaf shape from the logo helped emphasize "you don't have to do this alone," on the homepage and then again on the services page, to establish that the help is real and available.
  • Instead of feeling like a hospital or treatment facility, the client wanted to show peer connection, activity, participation, and recovery in everyday life. I avoided the common avenue of feeling clinical and like a hospital.
  • I didn't want a disconnect from the brand system to the website, so I tried to bring the same feeling of growth and forward progress to the photography choices, open layout and color choices
  • The layout and design puts the client first and the center second. Calls to action for assistance are primary and the language used is about the visitor and how they can get help.
